Outstanding Graduate Students Recognized at Annual MEMS Awards Luncheon

PITTSBURGH (December 9, 2016) … The University of Pittsburgh Department of Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science (MEMS) honored three graduate students for exemplary efforts in research assistant and teaching assistant positions. Dr. Brian Gleeson, Harry S. Tack Chair Professor and Chair of MEMS, presented the awards at the annual MEMS Awards Luncheon on December 6, 2016.

The award recipients are: Naji Alibeji, Best Research Assistant in Mechanical Engineering; Kexi Liu, Best Research Assistant in Material Sciences Engineering; and Marcus Allen, Best Teaching Assistant in Materials Sciences Engineering.
