MEMS Graduate Student Lounge Now Open

IMG_3706

A common room space has been created and dedicated to the MEMS graduate students.  The graduate lounge is located  to the right off of the elevators on the 5th floor of Benedum Hall.  A ribbon cutting ceremony was held this week to mark the grand opening.  The space was created from a long-time need for graduate students to have their own space to study, do homework,  meet with groups, or even relax in-between classes.  The MEMS Graduate Excellence Team (GET) played a large role in securing this spot for graduate student use and facilitating the design and construction of the room.

Shown in image cutting the ribbon is Department Chair, Professor Brian Gleeson and GET Chair, Professor Tevis Jacobs.

Swipe card is required for entry.  Interested MEMS graduate students can request access through this link
