Welcome our new CMI Fellow Jinal Mistry

 Our current CMI Fellow, Mr. Akhil Aniff, will be finishing his term as the CMI Fellow as of June 30, 2018. Akhil is graduating from the University of Pittsburgh with a BS in Bioengineering. He is a Fellow in the Venture for America program and will be working for Grypmat, a Columbus based start-up. Akhil has made major contributions to the CMI research program administration and to improving the content and scope of our website and branding. We wish him well in his career as a biomedical innovator!  

Stepping into the CMI Fellow role is Ms. Jinal Mistry. Jinal is currently pursuing a Master of Science degree in the Medical Product Engineering within the Department of Bioengineering at the University of Pittsburgh. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from Mumbai University in India. She has worked in the medical device space, focusing on wearable medical device product development. She is passionate about healthcare innovation and bringing new technologies to the end user. All of us on the CMI leadership team welcome Jinal in her new role.
