Benedum Hall MBA Award
PITTSBURGH (February 24, 2012) ... The Master Builders' Association (MBA) announced the winners for the 2011 MBA Building Excellence Awards competition held during the annual "Construction Industry Evening of Excellence" on Thursday, February 23, 2012, at the Heinz Field East Club. Among this year's winners was Benedum Hall, which captured the Renovation Construction Over $10 Million category. Project Contractor was Volpatt Construction Corporation, and Project Architect was Edge Studios.
Presented by the MBA, this event attracted more than 800 professionals who contribute to the quality of construction in Western Pennsylvania. Highlighting the evening's festivities was the presentation of the 2011 MBA Building Excellence Awards. Presented annually, the Building Excellence Awards are the highest and most sought-after commercial construction industry awards in our region.
"We congratulate all of our winning teams and projects that help contribute to our economy and general health of the construction industry," said Jack Ramage, Executive Director of the MBA. "All too often, we fail to appreciate the contributions local contractors make to our environment and to our quality of life."
