Dean Holder discusses the RK Mellon $22 million gift to the Center for Energy on "Our Region's Business"

PITTSBURGH (February 28, 2012) ... The Center for Energy at Pitt's Swanson School of Engineering received a $22 million grant from the R.K. Mellon Foundation. Gerald Holder, dean of the Swanson School, discusses how this remarkable gift will be used by the University to expand energy materials and grid research and continue to position Pittsburgh as the center of innovation in American energy. This episode of Our Region's Business aired Sunday, February 26.

Our Region’s Business, hosted by Bill Flanagan, is a Sunday-morning business affairs program co-produced by the Allegheny Conference and Cox Broadcasting that aims to play a positive role in the Pittsburgh region by providing business news, information and commentary in a lively and entertaining format.

Our Region’s Business airs on Sundays at 11 a.m. on WPXI-TV and is rebroadcast on PCNC-TV at 3:30 and 7:30 p.m. that day, and 3:30 p.m. on the subsequent Monday. The program also appears on WJAC-TV (Johnstown – Altoona) at 6 a.m. and WTOV-TV (Wheeling – Steubenville) at 6:30 a.m.
