Swanson School Alumni Named Pittsburgh 30 Under 30

These two former students are being recognized for the impact they’ve made in Pittsburgh so early in their careers

Lauren Grice and Christian Romano, both graduates from the University of Pittsburgh Swanson School of Engineering, are making a big difference in the city.

And they’re not even thirty years old.

Because of their accomplishments early in their careers, Grice and Romano were selected to be in the Pittsburgh Business Times 30 Under 30 list. Young professionals included in the list are chosen by exhibiting strong leadership and making a difference in their communities.

Grice and Romano will be honored in a special edition of the Pittsburgh Business Times on April 19, 2024.

“Recognition feels uncomfortable, but it's been a nice moment of pause to think about how this could be impactful to my career," said Grice, an alumna of Pitt’s Department of Bioengineering. “It will help me position myself to solve bigger problems in healthcare which is really what motivates me.”
