Swanson School faculty and students visit Peking University

PEKING, China (March 7, 2012) ... On March 5, about 50 University of Pittsburgh Swanson School of Engineering faculty and students paid a visit to Peking University to explore cooperation opportunities.

Professor Pingchou Han, College of Engineering Assistant Dean for Global Education warmly received them and introduced the international exchanges programs of COE, including the GLOBEX-Design program and GLOBEX-Education Program. The GLOBEX-Design program allows students from both universities to jointly work on industry-sourced projects in small-size teams, and the GLOBEX-Education program provides undergraduate students an opportunity to study in one of the participating universities either for one semester or during one summer.
