Swanson School Announces Graduation Recognition Event Schedule

The Swanson School of Engineering will host 6 departmental ceremonies the weekend of April 29-May 1. The Order of the Engineer will also be held that weekend and will not conflict with any of the departmental ceremonies or Commencement.

Graduate Commencement for all PhD and MS grads from all disciplines will also be held that weekend and will not conflict with any other ceremony.

Pitt will host an in-person University-wide commencement ceremony for undergraduate student candidates at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 1, at the Petersen Events Center. Those who earned bachelor’s degrees during the academic terms of August 2021 and December 2021, and those who are candidates for bachelor’s degrees in April 2022, will receive an invitation via their Pitt email accounts in early March.
